The opening was attended by Spirit-filled brothers and sisters and church oversights from Jiwaka, Chimbu, and Mt. Hagen Assemblies.  Also present for the opening were visiting saints from Lae (about 50 spirit-filleds) together with  Provincial Pastor Martin Matena. Senior Pastors attending the Tolu Opening were: Provincial Pastor Jacob Horopa of Southern Highlands, Provincial Pastor Martin Matena of Morobe Province, District Pastor Bruno Mondo of Chimbu Assembly, and District Pastor Michael Kumung of Port Moresby Assembly.

Coinciding with the Opening at Tolu, Jiwaka Province was also declared as an Assembly by the Church Council. The announcement was delivered by District Pastor Michael Kumung. This announcement was a welcome news for Jiwaka brothers and sisters who were under Chimbu and Hagen Assemblies. Jiwaka was the last province to be given  Assembly status; all other provinces have established Revival Centre Assemblies.

About 2000 people (spirit-filled and observers) were present to witness the Opening. District Pastor Michael Kumung of Port Moresby assembly officially unveiled the new Sign-Board at the entrance, and cut the ribbon to open the New Tolu House Meeting. During the opening, nine people indicated to get baptised. They were led down to the Binz River and were baptised by full immersion. Fellowship meal was served after the official program.

On Sunday, a combined fellowship was held at Tolu House Meeting. After the fellowship, another 12 people indicated to get baptised, which brought to 21 the total number of baptisms during Tolu Opening.
