Revival Centres Of Papua New Guinea (RCPNG) is a Pentecostal church. We are affiliated with Revival Fellowships worldwide. We preach Salvation Message as found in the book Acts chapter 2 verse 38. We emphasise on the necessity for one to be born-again of water and the Holy Spirit.

RCPNG accentuate all believers to Repent, Be Baptised and Receive the Holy Spirit. John 3:5, Unless a man is born again of water and the Holy Spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God. In the Gospel of John, chapter 3 and verse 3 to 5, Jesus Christ the son of God Himself, emphasizes on the need for all believers to go through the Born-Again experience.

Revival Centres Of PNG Church, started in a remote village called Karaite, Lumi District of Sandaun Province. RCPNG church was born when the first nine (9) converts from Karaite village were baptised on 1st September 1982. History of PNG Revival Centres can be read here.

Revival Fellowship in Papua New Guinea is headed by Principal Pastor Godfrey Wippon. We have twenty two (22) Provincial Pastors who administer and coordinate church work in the twenty two provinces of PNG. Working closely under Provincial Pastors, are District Pastors and Area Pastors who oversee church work in their respective districts, villages and towns. Church work in provinces can be found under Assemblies.

A prominent phenomenon inside our fellowship is the manifestations of the Holy Spirit. When believers are being baptised, they come out from the waters of baptism and receive the Holy Spirit, with Biblical evidence of Speaking In Tongues (Acts 19:2-6). Another significant event is Divine Healing Power of God. A good number of our congregation members are people who were miraculously healed from all kinds of sicknesses.

REPENTANCE

To repent is to repair a wrong. The Bible tells us that there is none righteous (Romans 3:10). Having gone your own way, you have sinned, but now you have turned to Jesus Christ and have admitted or confessed this sin. The forgiveness of God is assured (1 John 1:9).

BAPTISM

Your restoration through the favour of a loving God is found through obedience. To be baptised is command of Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:19). The Bible teaching on Baptism is believers immersion, as illustrated throughout the world, and is not to be confused with unscriptural practice of sprinkling or christening. Baptism is a commandment to all believers (Acts 2:38). It is also evidence of true repentance and a good conscience towards God. (1 Peter 3:21).

THE HOLY SPIRIT

You are promised a wonderful experience with your Saviour. He will baptise you with the Holy Ghost and fireā€¦. (Matthew 3:11). You are encouraged to receive this power (Luke 11:9-13). By reading and believing the many accounts of the Holy Spirit in the early Church, you will find great faith to claim this experience. You will speak in tongues as promised to all believers (Mark 16:17).
